Behind the Work
“Our “Bloc” design is inspired by traditional woodblock printing techniques and was first made for an exhibition in Istanbul which addressed feelings of nostalgia and home. It originally came about from a study of terrazzo tiles in our local shopping centre in Lewisham here in London.
Using a custom made block, we use a variety of tools and techniques to create individual squares of pattern and texture on a crisp, waxy linen. We use a plain block of wood and create the pattern on the surface of the wood rather than carving into it, giving us a versatile tool which is capable of creating innumerable patterns.”

- 100% heavyweight linen with contrasting zip finish, filled with feather cushion pad.
- Care: Hand wash gently with a mild detergent or dry clean. Iron on the reverse only.
