“The message behind my work depends on the theme or topic I’m trying to develop. Sometimes I want to create the element of surprise and have the viewer ask themselves, “what is going on here?". "Cinema" identifies with this sort of intriguing surrealism. It also has minimal content; I created a composition that is pleasant and easy. I want to leave the viewer with a simple platform for open interpretation.”
