Behind the Work

“In this artwork, I wanted to play with the familiar feeling of “freshness” that comes after relaxing leisure. I transported myself to a sunny garden, relaxing amongst the vegetation and flowers whilst creating this work, a place of pleasure and freedom. I use a flower to show the playfulness of nature, the sky to represent freedom and a glass of wine and papaya for fullness and refreshment.”
