Behind the Work
“I wanted to create sublimity with the woman’s body, her femininity, and an article of clothing. An exposed nude body that is in a way both protected and unknown. I wanted to create contrast in size between the model’s body and the size of the hat, all whilst forming a continuity in line and shape with the curvature of each.”
