“I'm always trying to push and explore in my art, I really want to break down and climb in to what it means to put pen/paint to paper. Texture is an important factor in this artwork, as it has a lot of different layers and mediums, such as ink, collage, acrylic, paint, pens and pencil. Combining spontaneous prose with the collage of a Portuguese Agencia Nacional de Inovacao document of 1968, the work breaks up levels of information; the plus symbol that is repetitive across the piece indicates that overload of information, the noise of life and the active mind.”
