I want to mask the sensuous elements of femininity behind flowers, leaves and colours to illustrate the importance of seeing further, beyond the female nude.”

Behind the Work

"'Port de Tête' means 'head bearing' in French. It's quite easy to say that certain features of a woman effortlessly attract attention. Though the female figure is innately sensual in its entirety, I wanted to focus in on the initial clutch: the neck and the face. It's an area filled with luminous mystery and dense beauty."
