“The contorting and morphing of the human form is endlessly satisfying as a painter and continually comes naturally to me. In this case, I wanted to bring a sort of equilibrium to the body through voluptuous curvature. The figure posed is unfaced and innocent, feminine and full. The metaphysical lines are blurred into anonymity, leaving only form suspended in a clouded surrealist limbo of ink marks, paint and symbols.”
